I tried it in July 2010 and it worked first time like a charm.

My project has a bigger scope and I just needed to test that it getting content into joomla database is possible so I didn’t test it robustly.

It is updated. I download feed gator maybe 10 days ago and everything works just fine.

There is. You can make that your feeds are not complete article so if someone want to read them then it must go on your page. So the stealer would not have good use. Other then that you cant actualy stop it. You can contact person and ask him to stop stealing your threads and topics.
